Federation of Karate Organisations (FEKO) International is a national governing body. KSEM is a member of FEKO International which is which is one of the largest karate organisations in the country with of 84 member associations and over 17,000 members. FEKO events and courses are open to KSEM members. Since this is a much larger organisation, this provides our insurance and instructor registration. And for those that are interested, it gives access to competitions. Alan Carruthers, 8th dan is the Chairman of FEKO.
The Federation of Martial Arts is part of FEKO International which offers membership to all Martial Art styles and practices.
FEKO is a founder member of the English Karate Council which is a umbrella Governing Body for English Karate Associations and Federations.
FEKO International is in direct membership of World Union of Karate-Do Federations (WUKF). This international body and provides World and European championships.
Feko International and the Federation of Martial Arts are in direct membership to the World Kobukan Federation which brings together many martial art styles and practices.
